Laureate Higher Institute of Business Administration This Bamenda based higher institution of learning is approved by the Cameroonian Ministry of Higher Education. This institution is born of the ashes of Laureate Business College (LBC) in the year 2014. This prestigious institution was created by vote of the National Commission of the Ministry of Higher Education on the 25th of July 2013 following Ministerial Decision number No. 13. This foundation was laid some 10 years before in 2005 by its mother institution Laureate Business College Bamenda. LAHIBA’s final authorization was granted 7 months in 2014 following Ministerial Decision No. 14/01324/L/MINESUP/SG/DDES /ESUP/SDA/OAGS of 11th March 2014 of the Ministry of Higher Education. LAHIBA Polytechnic offers Higher National Diplomas HND certified courses with over departments organised through four schools: Business Studies, ICT, Journalism and Education. The institution also offers special professional study programmes for workers in the evening. It is structured under highly professionalized and specialised programmes with highly equipped library and computer labs with books and computers for archiving and researching for the Engineering and ICT Departments. Its cross Section of highly experienced lecturers and professionals from major universities and other polytechnics has made the institution gain its present status in Bamenda and on the national territory.
